We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead Supercharge's engineering team! As CTO, you will be the architectural and cultural backbone of our technology organization, guiding our diverse engineering team of 100 talented individuals, fostering a world-class engineering culture, and championing our technical capabilities in the market. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy, ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry trends (especially in AI tooling), and delivering exceptional solutions for our clients.

Your day to day will include:

Own and drive Supercharge’s tech vision, ensuring it aligns with business strategy, client needs, and emerging trends.
Oversee and evolve our scalable, secure, high-performing tech stack and system architectures.
Lead strategic tech initiatives and R&D to fuel innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Support security and compliance efforts while fostering a culture of clean, secure, and maintainable code.
Lead and mentor a 100+ person engineering team across web, mobile, QA, and Data & AI, promoting excellence and inclusivity.
Champion engineering best practices across the SDLC, including agile delivery, testing, code quality, productivity metrics, and architectural governance.
Explore and integrate AI to enhance engineering workflows and unlock new use cases.
Drive hiring, growth, and retention of top tech talent while cultivating a high-performing, collaborative culture.
Promote internal knowledge sharing through tech talks, workshops, and documentation, while encouraging open-source contributions and technical content publishing.
Represent Supercharge in the tech community via conferences, webinars, and public speaking to strengthen our engineering brand.
Partner with sales and delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions, contributing to pre-sales, proposals, and client pitches.
Act as a senior technical advisor to key clients, ensuring delivery excellence, trust, and satisfaction.
Identify and shape new service and product opportunities aligned with market trends and client demand.

What makes you thrive here:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of Engineering, VP of Engineering, CTO) within an agency or consulting environment.
Deep expertise and hands-on experience with at least some of our technologies: modern backend (.NET, Java, NodeJS), frontend (React, Angular, Vue), mobile (native and cross-platform), and Data & AI technologies (e.g., Databricks, VertexAI)
Proven experience in building, scaling, and managing large, high-performing engineering teams.
Strong understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices for developing scalable, secure, and robust applications.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment.
Ability to balance technical excellence and commercial priorities.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML.
Experience in a highly regulated industry or with enterprise-level clients.
Active participation in the tech community (e.g., meetups, conferences, open-source contributions).
