Controlling Specialist

As a Controlling Specialist you will:

• Be responsible for all accounting/controlling activities of the European offices of Supercharge. This includes coordinating with external accountants, auditors and collaborating in the preparation of financial statements for the entire Supercharge Group.
• Ensure timely closure of financial reporting and preparation of internal controlling reports (e.g. management reports, sales reports etc.)
• Be responsible for all day-to-day financial tasks (e.g. managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, overseeing the Procurement and Supplier procedures)
• Be the first point of contact for our employees, clients and suppliers regarding financial matters
• Bring fresh ideas to improve financial processes and be able to implement them in practice.
• Help out other teams (e.g.: local managing directors, sales team members, project managers) by providing them with financial and non-financial reports along with advice drawn from that information provided 
• Participate in the preparation of the annual business plan, the budgeting and planning of cash flow
• Have the opportunity to learn how finance can support data driven strategic decision making

We expect you to:

• Have Bachelor/Master’s degree, or similar in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study
• Have 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or reporting or auditing is desired
• Have strong analytical skills as you will create financial reports, draw conclusions on and give advice based on them
• Have a hands-on attitude. We make things happen and help each other out even if something is not strictly in our job title. 🙂
• Be flexible and responsible. If you feel you can improve something (e.g. a process, information flows between teams) we encourage you to come up with ideas on how to make that improvement happen
• Speak fluently in English, as you will also be in touch with colleagues from our offices outside Hungary
• Have good excel knowledge. You don’t have to build macros, but need to handle basic functions well.
