We're looking for a Backend Engineer with a strong problem-solving mindset to join a team working with a US-based dental/medtech client. This is not a typical feature-factory role — and it's not a support role either. You'll work on real production issues, dig into root causes, and deliver long-term engineering solutions that stick. You'll build tools and features that directly support dental practices across the US, contributing to mission-critical software used daily by healthcare providers. The role runs in afternoon/evening hours (16:00–24:00 CET) to align with US business hours, keeping you close to where the action is in real time. You'll be embedded in our core product engineering team, reporting to our Principal Technology Lead, and collaborating closely with a group of senior engineers on some of the most technically challenging and impactful work the platform has to offer, combining backend development, DevOps troubleshooting, and hands-on problem solving with real-world impact and plenty of variety.
