NeuConnect joins Supercharge at E-world Energy & Water 2026

We’re happy to announce that along with Britned, NeuConnect, the first direct energy link between the UK and Germany, will also join the Supercharge booth at E-world Energy & Water 2026. Attending this conference as partners marks an important milestone in our collaboration as we work towards building a state-of-the-art Market Integration Platform for one of Europe’s most significant new interconnector projects.

Building the digital foundation for a vital new UK-German energy link

NeuConnect will operate a 1.4GW subsea cable connecting the UK and Germany, powering up to 1.5 million homes. As NeuConnect prepares for full operations in 2028, putting the right digital systems in place is a critical step. 

Supercharge will collaborate with Neuconnect’s energy experts to create their own custom Market Integration Platform, navigating human-centred product design, state of the art technology stack and data engineering, large-scale system integration into the energy market ecosystem and all-level operational support.

The platform will be the main interface for market participants, enabling transmission rights nominations across all product timescales between the UK and German electricity markets in one place. Supercharge will also manage and maintain the platform while providing 24/7 helpdesk support, ensuring a smooth, reliable experience for all users.

A first step in a long-term customer journey

NeuConnect and Supercharge are currently working through a detailed design phase to align operational and market participant requirements, define system specifications, and design a seamless customer journey for the platform.

As part of this collaboration, NeuConnect and Supercharge will attend E-world Energy & Water together, engaging directly with market participants and industry stakeholders. We’re looking forward to conversations about NeuConnect’s journey toward digital operations, and how human-centric digital platforms can enable secure, efficient cross-border energy trading at scale.
