The platform we created together leverages digital processes and the power of AI to redefine how banks and alternative investors handle their deal pipeline, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
Managing real estate investment deals is a complex and cumbersome process. It involves scouting for prime opportunities, liaising with developers, managing document versions, obtaining necessary certificates, and completing legal paperwork – making it a challenging ordeal for everyone involved. However, the prospect of a lucrative investment outcome is usually worth the persistence.
Layer Finance seeks to streamline and significantly ease this process with its comprehensive, fully digitised platform. Their new solution facilitates deal onboarding, enhances communication, provides secure file management via data rooms, and improves all-over efficiency with automated task management.
By creating an extensive, step-by-step flow, we managed to eliminate almost all manual effort required, but we decided to push on further. Taking a considerable stride forward, we introduced Layron, a pioneering AI real estate analyst that Layer Finance specifically designed to support investors. Layron represents a groundbreaking addition that can revolutionise the entire real estate investment landscape.
Launching an end-to-end digital platform to collect, upload and systematise all required data in one place has eased the workload considerably both on the developer and investor side. Yet the process still requires a certain amount of hands-on effort from both parties. Even so, constructing a fully digital solution was a necessary step zero that allowed Layer Finance to take a step further and start thinking about ways to effectively automatise crucial, time-consuming tasks in the flow.

Besides drastically reducing the need for manual interventions, LAYRON can finally provide an answer to long-standing pain points within the real estate investment industry. Lack of standardisation, limited reach and ineffective communication (also incurring high operational costs) can now be easily circumvented by relying on LAYRON’s four core functionalities.
Layer Finance leverages the technology of Large Language Models (LLMs) for its AI engine. With continuous training in the domain of real estate development and investment portfolios, LAYRON will gather the specific knowledge necessary to form an advanced assistant that streamlines the deal onboarding process with unparalleled efficiency and ease.
At the publication time of this case study, LAYRON’s first proof of concept is already up and running. Focusing on extracting and structuring real estate information, the engine is now able to analyse the uploaded deal documentation within seconds.
Layer Finance plans to launch an MVP version for LAYRON with core functionality within one year from the project kickoff. Feedback from the first pilot model will be channeled back to the engine, complemented with continuous performance evaluation and further training.
Eventually, LAYRON clients will be able to benefit from an advanced, high-capacity AI platform with 24/7 functionality that is fine-tuned for real estate investment and financing scenarios.
