We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive our infrastructure and operations to the next level. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring smooth project delivery, robust infrastructure management, and seamless deployment processes. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive our infrastructure and operations to the next level. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring smooth project delivery, robust infrastructure management, and seamless deployment processes. Your day to day will include:
- Ensuring the on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery of assigned projects by leading the DevOps team’s work
- Leading, mentoring, and growing a team of DevOps engineers, while also establishing and maintaining a learning and development strategy.
- Continuously improving our infrastructure support efforts
- Designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Assessing and managing technological risks
- Implementing and enforcing security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes
- Driving standardization and automation efforts of the build and release processes
- Working closely with developer teams to ensure quality gates and meet our organizational standards
- Spreading the word about DevOps services within the engineering team through inhouse workshops and knowledge sharing activities
We'd love to meet someone who has:
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Solid experience in Linux-based tools and shell scripting
- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi or similar)
- Mastery of Kubernetes-based technologies (Helm, Istio)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Openness to 24/7 on-call support
- Previous experience as a developer
- The ability to provide constructive feedback to team members, creating a space for personal and professional growth
- A keen eye for the latest trends in infrastructure and backend development
- At least an intermediate level of English language skills, as our team operates internationally
