As a Frontend Tech Lead, you'll be at the forefront of guiding developers in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, ensuring technical excellence and high code quality standards. Your leadership will also involve mentoring team members, managing tasks efficiently, and driving projects to successful, on-time completion. Your day to day will include:
- Guiding the JavaScript engineer in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, while setting technical direction and upholding code quality standards
- Collaborating with the solution architect to define and evolve system architecture for enhanced scalability, performance, and security
- Actively engaging in coding, code review, and the enforcement of best practices
- Mentoring and coaching team members to promote continuous learning and growth
- Efficiently managing tasks and providing technical insights to ensure on-time and on-scope project delivery
- Maintaining consistent communication with the Project Manager and Tech Lead to ensure alignment and shared objectives
- Staying up-to-date with the latest JavaScript technologies, frameworks, and tools, and introducing relevant technologies to enhance development processes
We'd love to meet someone who has:
- At least 5 years of experience in JavaScript programming. We currently utilize Angular, React and Typescript in our projects. We are looking for a JS Tech Lead with a focus on Angular, but openness to React is a must
- A strong interest in reactive programming, with experience using RxJS and Signals
- Experience with a variety of testing frameworks, including including Jest and Playwright
- An interest in server-side coding with Node.js, which we would really appreciate
- The ability to provide constructive feedback to team members, creating a space for personal and professional growth
- A commitment to always supporting your project mates and offering a helping hand when needed
- A genuine interest in staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends
- A mindset that encourages innovation, inspiring team members to bring forth fresh ideas and adapt to changing industry landscapes
- At least an intermediate level of English language skills, as our team operates internationally
