Your day to day will include:
- Interpreting complex problems, creating simple solutions and collaborating closely with the engineering and data team to deliver winning solutions that help customers accelerate critical business outcomes with AI
- Perform exploratory data analysis and create dashboards to communicate key findings and results to stakeholders.
- Creating concepts, suggesting best practices and approaches, designing high-level solution architecture
- Staying up-to-date on AI advancements and industry trends to inform strategic recommendations
- Contributing to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the organisation to enable a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Work with multiple sources of data, storage systems, and building processes and pipelines to provide cohesive datasets for analysis and modelling
- Generate, maintain and optimise data pipelines for model building and model performance evaluation.
- Develop, test, and evaluate machine learning models.
- Get familiar with industry-specific domain knowledge and understand the required business outcomes.
- Evaluate production models based on business metrics to drive continuous improvement
We'd love to meet someone who has:
- At least 5+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist / AI Developer or in a comparable role.
- Has tangible experience in the banking, insurance or energy industry.
- The ideal candidate is a great communicator with excellent English skills.
- Expertise in modern machine learning frameworks and technologies (Python with Keras, Caffe, PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar in the ML space)
- Knowledge of industry-standard technologies and tools (Databricks, notebooks) in the Data Science and Machine Learning space.
- Strong experience with SQL and familiarity with database structures.
- Familiarity with generative AI (LLM) solutions, fluency with scripting in Python, up-to-date with the latest models and techniques (Llama2, GPT4, Gemini, fine-tune, RAG, usage of vector databases, LLM agents)
- Productionize AI models, ensuring that models transition seamlessly from Proof of Concept into robust, high-performance production environments.
- Ensure models are deployed with appropriate monitoring, optimization, and maintenance to meet business requirements.
- Adaptability and the ability to work in a dynamic consulting environment with evolving client needs.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
